Garden Park at Innovation Place

The Garden Park, adjacent to Boffins at Innovation Place, offers a picturesque setting and ample public seating areas.

The lower level of the Garden Park is home to a large pond surrounded by extensive perennial plantings. Throughout the summer a variety of native and exotic water plants enhance the beauty of the pond; most notable are the large Lotus blooms in amongst the carpet of water lilies. A small lawn and two patio areas offer the opportunity to sit, relax and watch the many koi swimming in the pond. 

Connecting the lawn and large patio is a rundle stone path, providing access to the Gazebo which offers a view of the entire lower level of the garden. Across the path, tucked away in the trees, is a meticulously maintained Japanese dry garden. A small path along the perimeter of the dry garden leads to a stone seat, a perfect spot to get away from the stress of the day.

While walking the paths of the upper level of the Garden Park visitors can view the pond and perennial plantings from a new perspective. Turning away from the pond visitors can view the waterfall and stream which feed the pond or discover a covered walkway leading to a beautiful espalier tree - the perfect spot for a photograph or sneaking a moment alone.

In the winter months, the pond transforms into a unique skating rink. A chalet is available for use by Innovation Place tenants.

Metered parking is available near the turnabout on Innovation Boulevard (see map).
