Lady fern
Athyrium filix-femina
One of the prettiest native ferns, lady ferns grow 2-3 ft. tall and wide but can occasionally grow larger. Happy in a sheltered, shady site with good moisture conditions. Lady ferns will slowly multiply where they are happy and provide good cutting material for bouquets.
