Purple avens

Growing 1-2 ft. tall, this elegant plant will happily grow in sun or shade (though it prefers sun) providing it has plenty of moisture. It is great for the edge of a bog or stream and the nodding, unusual flowers create interest. It flowers over a long period and is quick to establish.
