Western red lily
Lilium philadelphicum
Saskatchewan’s provincial flower, this is a very special plant. Unlike most lilies, it does not adapt to home gardens.
It is absolutely critical that you do not dig these plants from the wild. Not only is it illegal to disturb these protected flowers, it's also unethical and impractical since it's not likely to survive transplanting. Purchase these from a reputable native plant seller.
It can be grown from seed without too much difficulty, but from seed to bloom takes many years and plants often languish and fail to establish well. Still, it is worth trying and it may do well in a sunny, moist site if you have one.
